Aiguille du Midi & Step Into The Void
Step into the void is an attraction not to be missed. Feel the adrenaline rush as you stand inside a reinforced glass box suspended 1000m above the ground on the side of Aiguille du Midi’s upper terrace near the summit of Mont Blanc.
Montenvers Train & Mer de Glace + Ice Grotto
Mer de Glace is the largest glacier in France (known as the sea of ice) measuring 7km long by 200m deep. One of the key sights of Chamonix, it can be accessed via the Montenvers funicular train which climbs a steep track to a stunning vantage point above.
Music Festivals
Chamonix has a great selection of musical events to be enjoyed throughout the year. The mighty Musilac festival takes place annually in April attracting visitors from around the world.
